Change your life and become free - trust
We started our adventure at the beginning of November 22, even though we hadn't sold our house in Germany by the time we left due to the sudden property crisis. This required a lot of flexibility, strength and perseverance from us - during the whole process of dissolving our old life and preparing our new one. We flew to South Africa with the deep trust that a buyer would come along as soon as we had the physical space and room. In Jürgen, our estate agent, we found a highly recommended professional and wonderful friend to whom we were able to hand over the house and the marketing in our absence. And the universe delivered: just one week after our departure, our house was viewed by the buyer! After a few rounds of talks, we were in agreement. And now we are signing the purchase contract at the embassy in Pretoria, which has already been signed by the buyer. Everything is coming together as planned.
For us, this means finally being able to let go of the last branch of the old life and now fly with our wings spread into final freedom! We are so happy and grateful!
How my soul led me to my living dragonfly
But in a flash, my whole self begins to react: my body trembles, my stomach rebels, my mind spins like a merry-go-round, I am completely emotional and agitated, laughing and crying at the same time, my soul rejoices, my ratio twitches and I have the strong urge to start running. Because when I run, I can sort out my thoughts and feelings, find inner peace, answers and clarity.
The sun has already set and dusk has set in. I walk out of our Keiler Trailer stand along the sandy path further into the bush. I take a deep breath, looking up. I realise how this still missing act of signing the contract has been subconsciously weighing us down, still binding us to what has already been let go. And how now the independence and freedom I have gained is spreading through every fibre of my being - the physical reactions were my outlet!
Suddenly my eyes focus on a silhouette in the tree above me, something hanging from a branch. Can it be: is that a dragonfly?
Yes, it is a beautiful dragonfly with its outstretched, delicate wings, holding onto a branch with only its legs. What a delicate, peaceful and touching sight. I am completely enchanted and almost don't dare to breathe. And so this photo was taken, which you can also find on the home page.

This "my" dragonfly is for me the sign and the answer of my soul: it is happy that I have listened to its call, even against all the difficulties on the way here. And I say thank you that on this evening, before this important appointment, in this emotional state, I am passing exactly under the tree where my Soul animal hung herself on a branch to sleep.
Trust is also a decision
Inspired and with the realisation that deep trust in life, in one's own decision and in time is a big step towards my inner freedom, I go back to Stefan and our new home, the WildBoar Keiler Trailer. I have not only let go of everything material, but also of my tension and idea that I can plan and control everything. There are moments when I can simply surrender the outside into my self-confidence and into my power that everything will be all right. And I don't need to abandon my path of decision or slow it down, but can courageously continue to follow it. Because trust is also a decision.
